Transformer Maintenance and Upgrade

The County of Hawaii, Department of Water Supply, is seeking bids for the maintenance and upgrade of its transformers. The contract period will start from the date of the Notice to Proceed and end on June 30, 2027. The scope of work includes inspection, electrical tests, infrared and ultrasonic surveying, laboratory testing of transformer oil, evaluating and documenting test results, upgrade work, and performing maintenance work according to manufacturer's recommendations. • The bidder must comply with all requirements set forth in Federal and State laws and regulations relative to non-discrimination. • The bidder must provide proof of compliance with the requirements of §3-122-112, HAR, including tax clearance, unemployment insurance, workers' compensation, temporary disability insurance, and prepaid health care. • The bidder must be registered to do business in the State of Hawaii or be a Hawaii business. • The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder. • The Department of Water Supply reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any defects or informalities in the bid.
