Solicitation: 26-554-001 AL Board of Pharmacy RFP for Accounting Services

The Alabama Board of Pharmacy is seeking a contractor to provide accounting services. The contractor will be responsible for ensuring the Board has an appropriate system of internal controls, reviewing and controlling general and administrative expenses, preparing financial reports, and performing other accounting tasks. The contract will be for two years with the option to extend for three additional one-year periods. • The contractor must have experience providing professional accounting services to state or local agencies. • The contractor must have a minimum of three years of experience providing accounting services. • The contractor must have experience with accounting processing and management with public sector agencies and organizations. • The contractor must have experience in compliance with relevant federal and state tax laws, labor regulations, and reporting requirements. • The contractor must have excellent communication skills and experience in accounting and financial services customer service. • The contractor must be able to provide accounting services remotely. • The contractor must be able to attend Board meetings virtually or in-person if requested. • The contractor must be able to provide a list of current clients they or their company represent in Alabama. • The contractor must not have any conflicts of interest with the Alabama Board of Pharmacy.
