Description

The Educational Service Unit Coordinating Council (ESUCC) is seeking bids for its Annual Buy Program, which provides art equipment and supplies to Nebraska schools and other members. The program aims to offer the economic benefits of volume purchasing and reduction in administrative costs through cooperative purchasing. Bidders must submit their bids electronically through the ESUCC's hosted sourcing application service. The bid award determination will be made primarily based on the lowest responsible bidder, and the awards committee reserves the right to award contracts to multiple vendors. Key highlights of the program include: • The Annual Buy Program has been in existence for over 55 years • ESUCC represents 17 Educational Service Units statewide, serving over 328,000 students • The program is open to public school districts, nonpublic school systems, other ESUs, and other public agencies • Bidders must comply with all applicable Nebraska and Federal laws, regulations, standards, orders, or requirements • The bid bond requirement is $2,500.00, and the administrative fee is 4% of the purchases made from the line-item bid • Payment terms are Net 45 days upon completion of the entire purchase order • The contract will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Nebraska • The ESUCC reserves the right to cancel, or suspend the use of, any agreement resulting from this IFB if the vendor files bankruptcy protection or is acquired by an independent third party

Budget estimate

$100,000 – $500,000

The budget for this opportunity can be estimated based on the administrative fee, which is 4% of the purchases made from the line-item bid. Assuming an average annual purchase amount of $1 million, the administrative fee would be $40,000. However, this is just a rough estimate, and the actual budget may vary depending on the number of bidders, the awarded contract value, and other factors. Considering these factors, a more realistic estimate for the budget could be between $100,000 and $500,000.
