Bulk Rock Salt for Roadway Ice Control

The City of Bloomington is seeking bids for the supply of bulk rock salt for roadway ice control. The contract will be for a period of 7 months, from October 1, 2026, to April 30, 2027. Bidders must submit both a base bid and an alternate bid to be eligible for consideration. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive technicalities. • The bid must be accompanied by a bid guaranty of at least 10% of the bid amount. • The successful bidder will be required to provide performance and payment bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract price. • The City has a local preference purchasing policy that may apply to this bid. • Bidders must comply with the City's Contract Compliance Ordinance and Human Relations Ordinance.
