Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Employment and Training (SNAP E&T) and Ohio Works First

The Lorain County Commissioners are seeking proposals for a Work Experience Program to provide work experience to Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Employment and Training (SNAP E&T) and Ohio Works First (OWF) Program recipients residing in Lorain County. The program aims to target mandatory registrants applying for or in receipt of these programs. Proposals will be received until 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 05, 2026. The bid packets will be available electronically beginning Wednesday, July 22, 2026. Some key points to consider: * The program will provide work experience to SNAP E&T and OWF Program recipients * Proposals must be submitted in writing and enclosed in an envelope marked "RFPSNAP E & T and OWF Programs" * The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids * Any interpretation, correction, or modifications to the specifications must be submitted in writing to Carolyn Neal at least four days prior to the bid opening date
