BROAD AGENCY ANNOUNCEMENT (BAA) RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT IN SUPPORT OF THE JOINT PROGRAM EXECUTIVE OFFICE FOR CHEMICAL, BIOLOGICAL, RADIOLOGICAL AND NUCLEAR DEFENSE (JPEO-CBRND), JPM MEDICAL AND JPL EB

The Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Defense (JPEO-CBRND) is seeking proposals for research and development in support of its mission to develop medical countermeasures against chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear threats. The BAA is open to all eligible sources, including educational institutions, nonprofit organizations, and private industry. Proposals may be submitted at any time, and the BAA will remain open until canceled by the U.S. Army. The JPEO-CBRND is interested in proposals that address the development of medical countermeasures, including diagnostics, therapeutics, and vaccines. Some specific areas of interest include: * Enabling technologies, such as combinatorial chemistry, high-throughput screening, and bioinformatics * Improved logistics tracking, including technologies that facilitate tracking and monitoring of individual product items throughout shipping, storage, delivery, and use * Life cycle bioinformatics, including data collection and analysis from all phases of research, development, manufacturing, and testing * Novel solutions and improved methods for developing medical countermeasures more rapidly and with increased efficiency. The JPEO-CBRND is also interested in proposals that address the development of prototypes, including the development of prototypes for medical countermeasures, such as diagnostics, therapeutics, and vaccines.
