AIRSHOW PUBLIC ADDRESS SYSTEM(SOUND) SERVICE 2027

The United States Air Force is seeking information from potential contractors for the provision of public address system services for the 2027 Beale Air & Space Expo. The contractor will be required to provide sound systems, personnel, and equipment to support the event, which will take place from April 16-18, 2027, at Beale AFB, CA. The contractor will need to provide a range of services, including sound engineering, sound performance, and technical support. The Air Force is looking for contractors with experience in providing similar services for air shows, particularly those with experience supporting the USAF Thunderbirds or USN Blue Angels. Some key requirements for the contractor include: • Providing a sound system with a minimum of 1000 watts of D-Class audio power • Providing speaker systems that can be placed approximately every 100 feet, and approximately 10 feet high • Providing wireless speakers in areas where cables or cable trays would impede foot traffic • Providing broadcast sound 300-500 feet into the crowd • Providing experience supporting an airshow for the USAF Thunderbirds or USN Blue Angels • Providing necessary equipment to connect to the Air Boss and USAF Thunderbirds’ comm trailer for cockpit and air traffic audio
