Furnish and Deliver Locks and Related Accessories (Rebid)

The Prince George’s County Public Schools is seeking qualified vendors to supply a comprehensive range of lock hardware and related accessories for schools, offices and warehouses throughout the county. The contract is a fixed‑rate, three‑year agreement (with up to two one‑year extensions) for furnishing and delivering items such as cylinders, dead‑bolts, padlocks, cam locks, lever locks, drawer locks, magnetic locks and assorted accessories. Bidders must provide firm unit prices, state a definitive delivery‑in‑days figure for each item, and meet strict warranty, insurance, MBE participation, and background‑check requirements. The award will be based on the lowest total responsive bid. • Supply of mechanical and electronic lock components (≈ 2,500 units total) on a “FOB Destination” basis. • Mandatory 10‑year manufacturer warranty, 72‑hour warranty response, and service response ≤ 5 business days (48 hrs for emergencies). • Compliance with 15 % Minority Business Enterprise goal, required insurance (CGL, cyber‑liability, etc.), and pre‑work background‑check/ Safe‑Schools training.
