ISO 17025

The United States Navy is seeking an accredited Accreditation Body to perform independent third‑party audits and conformity assessments for ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation of the NFPC Materials Laboratory. The scope includes chemical analysis, tensile testing, Rockwell hardness, and Brinell hardness. The contractor must supply all personnel, expertise, management, materials, and services required to grant and maintain the accreditation. • Perform initial ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation audit for the NFPC Materials Lab. • Conduct periodic surveillance and recertification audits. • Assess laboratory procedures in chemical analysis, tensile, Rockwell, and Brinell hardness testing. • Provide detailed audit reports, corrective action recommendations, and final accreditation decisions. • Supply all necessary audit staff, equipment, and documentation.
