Draft Commander 3000

The United States Air Force is seeking to acquire a Draft Commander 3000, a highly specialized system engineered exclusively by Weis Fire & Safety. This system is capable of performing a true NFPA 1911-compliant fire pump service test from draft utilizing a patented closed-loop water recycling system. The Air Force is considering a sole source procurement due to the unique nature of the system and the lack of alternative sources. • The system is designed to conduct mandatory high-volume draft testing on-station without wasting thousands of gallons of potable water or using dirty static water sources that damage apparatus pumps. • The system is compliant with NFPA 1911 standards. • The Air Force has previously awarded contracts to Weis Fire & Safety Equipment LLC for similar systems.
