The Navy is soliciting a supplier to design, manufacture, test, and deliver AN/BRR-6 Proximity Sensor Seated Switch Units for use on submarines. The supplier must provide detailed documentation, certifications, and adhere to mercury‑free material requirements. • Manufacture of the proximity sensor switch unit per Drawings 8590854 and 8590860, including plasma‑coated metal plug bodies and polyurethane molding. • Complete first‑article testing, inspection, and reporting (electrical continuity, insulation resistance, hydrostatic pressure, nondestructive bonding, etc.) with government‑approved test plans. • Ongoing production‑lot quality control, certification (MIL‑STD‑130 marking, MIL‑M‑24041, MIL‑DTL‑915), and delivery documentation, including mercury‑exclusion certification.
