Audit Services - Post Falls School District #273

Post Falls School District No. 273 is soliciting proposals from qualified firms of certified public accountants to audit the District's financial statements for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025, with the option of auditing the financial statements for the four subsequent fiscal years. The audit will be performed in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards and the standards set forth for financial audits in the U.S. General Accounting Office's Government Auditing Standards. The selected firm will be required to provide a report on the fair presentation of the financial statements, a report on compliance and internal control over financial reporting, and other reports as necessary. The District is looking for a firm with experience in auditing government entities and a strong understanding of the requirements of the Single Audit Act and OMB Circular A-133. Key aspects of the job include: • Auditing the District's financial statements for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025, and potentially for the four subsequent fiscal years • Performing the audit in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards and the standards set forth for financial audits in the U.S. General Accounting Office's Government Auditing Standards • Providing a report on the fair presentation of the financial statements and a report on compliance and internal control over financial reporting • Meeting the requirements of the Single Audit Act and OMB Circular A-133 • Working with the District's finance department and providing assistance as needed
