GROUNDS MAINTENANCE OCONEE MAINT.

The South Carolina Department of Transportation is seeking a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive grounds‑maintenance services for its Oconee Maintenance Facility in Westminster, SC. The work includes routine mowing, edging, weed control, fertilization, tree and shrub maintenance, pest management, litter and debris removal, and associated site‑cleanup activities. The contract is initially for one year with the possibility of up to four additional one‑year renewals, for a maximum term of five years. The contractor must hold a South Carolina Certified Pesticide Applicator License (Category 3), provide required insurance coverage, and maintain a supervisor on‑site during work hours. • Weekly mowing & edging (April‑October) and bi‑weekly service (Nov‑Mar) • Four herbicide applications and two fertilizer applications per year • Tree trimming, weed control, litter removal, and off‑site disposal of debris • Mandatory on‑site supervisor, licensed pesticide applicator, and compliance with safety/insurance requirements.
