ADVERTISEMENT FOR AUDIT SERVICES

The Fort Smith Airport Commission seeks a qualified Certified Public Accounting firm to conduct an independent financial audit of the Fort Smith Regional Airport for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2026, with an option to extend the audit services for four additional fiscal years. The audit must comply with Government Auditing Standards, the Single Audit Act, Uniform Guidance, Arkansas state requirements, and must include a specific audit of the airport’s Passenger Facility Charge (PFC) program in accordance with the FAA audit guide. • Perform a comprehensive audit of the airport’s financial statements for FY 2026 and optionally FY 2027‑20210. • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and GAO standards, including a detailed review of the PFC program against the FAA audit guide (Sept 2000 amendment). • Submit one signed original and one electronic PDF copy of the proposal by the deadline; proposals must follow the RFP instructions available via the airport’s website or by contacting the administration office. • The contract may be awarded to any qualified CPA firm; the airport reserves the right to cancel, waive irregularities, or reject proposals at its discretion.
