Power Delivery General Engineering Services

The City of Pasadena’s Water & Power Department is issuing an RFP to create a pool of qualified professional engineering firms that will provide supplemental, task‑order based services for its Power Delivery Division. The contract will cover multiple specialty groups—including substation design, SCADA/automation, system planning, civil/structural work, EV charging infrastructure, and renewable‑energy technical advisory—allowing the City to call on consultants for design, analysis, construction‑management, and related support on a as‑needed basis. Firms must have at least five years of relevant experience and five completed projects in each specialty they propose. All work will be performed under individual task orders, with compensation either lump‑sum or time‑and‑materials, and the City does not guarantee a minimum volume of work.
