Description
Menard County, Texas is seeking a qualified architectural and/or professional engineering firm to assess, design, and develop construction documents for the replacement of roofing systems on two county‑owned public buildings, and to provide procurement assistance and construction administration services. The solicitation is a qualifications‑based procurement; pricing will be negotiated after the firm is selected.
• Scope includes roof condition evaluation, replacement recommendations, design drawings, technical specifications, cost estimating, procurement support, and optional construction administration.
• Minimum qualifications: Texas‑licensed architect or PE, ≥5 years experience with commercial/public roof projects, at least three comparable projects, and ability to perform full service or subcontract as needed.
• Submission: Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) in PDF, ≤25 pages (excl. forms), due 10/02/2026 5 PM CST via email to Judge Brandon Corbin.
• Schedule: Posting 09/01/2026, questions due 09/18/2026, SOQ review 10/05‑09/2026, interviews 10/12‑23/2026, award anticipated Oct/Nov 2026.
• Estimated contract value: $60,000 (fixed‑price or negotiated).
• Evaluation criteria: firm qualifications, project approach, key personnel, schedule, relevant experience, overall responsiveness (100‑point system).
