Ector County is soliciting qualified vendors to provide a flexible pool of temporary workers across four categoriesâGeneral Laborer, SemiâSkilled Laborer, General Office Staff, and Coliseum Concessions. The contractor must maintain a readyâtoâdeploy workforce capable of responding within 24â48 hours (up to five business days) to meet fluctuating county staffing demands. All personnel remain employees of the vendor, who is responsible for wages, taxes, workersâ compensation, benefits, background checks, and compliance with federal, state and local labor laws. The contract is initially for one year with an option to renew up to three additional oneâyear terms, subject to performance and funding. Pricing is a fixed percentage markup on hourly rates, locked for the first year; renewals may allow rate adjustments. The county will evaluate proposals on pricing, buyout hours, availability, references, local presence, and Texas experience.
