RFP for Sheyenne Street Mowing and Trimming

The City of West Fargo is seeking a contractor to provide professional lawn maintenance services, specifically mowing and trimming, along portions of Sheyenne Street from Interstate 94 to 40th Avenue South. The contractor will be required to mow and trim the grass on a weekly basis, or as directed, and maintain the grass at a height of approximately three inches. The contractor will also be responsible for picking up litter and removing it from the site. The contract will be for a term of three years, with the option to extend for two additional years. The city reserves the right to reject any and all proposals received as a result of this RFP. • The contractor will provide the necessary equipment to accomplish the details for each work order associated with sufficient type, capacity, and quantity to safely perform the mowing services as specified. • The contractor will work closely with the Public Works Personnel and will cooperate and confer with him/her as necessary to ensure satisfactory work progress. • The contractor will comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. • The contractor will provide insurance and bond information, and will be responsible for any loss or damage to the documents which are in its possession.
