Parts and Service, OEM, Various Manufacturers

The Baltimore County Purchasing Division is seeking bids for parts and service, OEM, various manufacturers. The contract will be for a period of one year, with the option to renew for up to four additional years. The contractor will be required to provide OEM parts and service for various types of vehicles, including passenger vehicles, light and heavy-duty trucks, vans, and sport utility vehicles. The contractor must be an established, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) factory-authorized repair facility for the make(s) of vehicle being bid upon. The contractor must also have a minimum of ten maintenance service technicians, fully qualified to work on all types of equipment, with at least five being ASE certified. Some key points to consider: • The contractor will be required to provide parts at dealer cost plus a percentage, which will remain firm for the term of the contract. • The contractor will be required to perform labor hours based on the most current release of ALLDATA Pro. • The contractor will be required to provide estimates for repairs, which will include a description of the failure, the recommended repair, the net price for all needed parts, and the total number of labor hours needed to affect the repair. • The contractor will be required to provide a warranty for all goods and services provided, which will be for a period of one year from the date of acceptance.
