Clean Energy Career Pathways Training

The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) is seeking proposals to create or expand clean‑energy career pathways in New York State. Funded projects must deliver industry‑driven technical training (energy efficiency, building electrification, renewable energy, energy storage, smart grid, EV‑charging) combined with career‑preparation, wrap‑around services, and job‑placement support. Projects must be based in New York, serve New York residents, and ensure at least 50 % of trainees come from Disadvantaged Communities or Priority Populations, with a minimum 70 % placement rate within six months. Funding up to $1.5 M per award is available, with a required cost‑share of 25 % (reduced to 10 % for qualifying MWBE/SDVOB or fully disadvantaged‑population projects. The overall project period cannot exceed 30 months, including a six‑month outcome‑monitoring phase, and quarterly reporting is mandatory.
