B. E. Witkin Judicial College of California (Full Conference)

The Judicial Council of California is seeking proposals from hotels to host the B. E. Witkin Judicial College full‑conference program for the summers of 2027 and 2028. The contract will cover lodging, meeting/function rooms, food‑and‑beverage services, parking, internet, and ancillary program needs. Proposals must be submitted electronically by May 28, 2026 and will be evaluated on cost, location preference, facility quality, meeting‑space capabilities, and food service. • Provide sleeping rooms (approximately 150 rooms per day) at a budgeted rate of $199 per night (or better). • Supply meeting and function rooms with a total rental cap of $10,000 per event and include AV support (state‑owned equipment). • Deliver daily breakfast, coffee/tea, lunch and dinner at per‑person rates capped at $25, $8, $40 and $40 respectively, inclusive of tax and service charge. • Offer parking passes, Wi‑Fi, and other program‑support services; comply with all certifications (DARFUR, conflict‑of‑interest, debarment, tax, etc.) and accept payment via the Judicial Council’s Travel Payment Services Card.
