BID # 29-25 Annual Chemical Bid

The City of Portsmouth is seeking vendors to respond to its Annual Chemical Bid. The bid includes various chemicals, such as sodium hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide, and ammonium hydroxide, among others. Vendors may bid on some or all items, and multiple awards may be made. The bid prices shall be firm from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026. The successful bidders will be expected to perform (i.e., make deliveries) through July 15, 2026, at the bid price. Some key points to consider: • The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technical or legal deficiencies of any bid. • The City may request additional information or samples from vendors. • Vendors must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. • The City reserves the right to contract with the selected vendor for additional inventory, supplies, material, services, or work.
