Janitorial Services - Emporia

The Kansas Department for Children and Families is seeking a contractor to provide janitorial services for the Emporia Service Center. The contractor will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment, including daily, weekly, monthly, and annual tasks such as cleaning floors, restrooms, and offices. The contract will be for a period of 5 years, with an option for renewal. The contractor must provide a cost sheet with pricing for each year of the contract, with a maximum annual increase of 5%. The contractor must also provide at least two in-state references from current customers. • Key tasks include: daily cleaning of restrooms, offices, and common areas; weekly cleaning of floors and surfaces; monthly cleaning of windows and blinds; and annual deep cleaning of carpets and surfaces. • The contractor must also provide all necessary equipment and supplies, and ensure that all work is done in a safe and efficient manner. • The contract will be awarded based on the best value to the State, taking into account factors such as price, experience, and references.
