2026-005 Consultant Services for Transfer Station Operations

The Town of Salem, NH is seeking a consultant to provide services for drafting a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the operations of the Town's Solid Waste/Transfer Station. The consultant will be responsible for preparing a comprehensive RFP document, including conducting site visits, reviewing important documentation, and interviewing town staff. The successful consultant will be selected based on their experience, qualifications, and cost competitiveness. • The consultant must have at least three years of experience in creating RFPs for solid waste/transfer station operations for municipalities. • The consultant must have experience and knowledge of NHDES permitting as it relates to operating a transfer station and landfill. • The consultant must submit a final RFP document no later than 5pm on Friday, July 31, 2026. • The consultant must be available to assist the Town with procurement documentation and procedures. • The consultant must be available to review proposals and make recommendations to the Town.
