Silvus Radio Equipment Procurement

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is conducting a market survey to procure and install Silvus PRISM solutions with weatherproofing enclosures at seven mutually agreed-upon locations. The purpose of this market survey is to solicit statements of interest, capabilities, and rough orders of magnitude (cost estimates) from businesses interested in and capable of providing the required material and services. The scope of work includes providing all labor, tools, material, transportation, inspections, and any other incidentals required to install a Silvus PRISM solution. The contractor will also install Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and perform a functional test/check to verify equipment is operational after installation. Key requirements include: • Providing a capability statement that identifies the company's history of providing installation services and relevant previous contracts and awards • Providing information on pertinent current government support activities for communication installations • Clearly stating whether the company can provide all services listed in the draft requirements document • Providing an expected programmatic approach, including the percentage of work that will be done by eligible small, service-disabled veteran-owned, and 8(a) certified businesses
