2026-002 Howe and Horton Street Sidewalk and Paving Improvements

The City of Lewiston is seeking bids for the Howe and Horton Street Sidewalk and Paving Improvements project. The work includes furnishing and installing all materials, labor, and equipment necessary to resurface or rehabilitate streets or roads, including utility cover adjustments, water gate box lowering and raising, tack coat, shim, and overlay; driveway preparation and lawn and driveway restoration; pavement removal, common excavation, aggregate base gravel; erosion and traffic control and cleanup. The project must be completed by November 15, 2026. • The bid security must be in the form of a bid bond or certified check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid price. • A Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond will be required of the successful bidder. • The total Contract price shall mean the total bid price as stated in the Proposal based on the estimated quantities of the various items of work. • E-mailed or faxed proposals will not be considered.
