Bid documents can be requested through the City’s website; www.springfieldcityhall.com beginning on September 10, 2026. This bid falls under M.G.L. Ch. 30§39M and other procurement statutes.The City of Springfield invites all interested, qualified persons or firms capable of providing the requested services, to submit bids to enter into an agreement to provide improvements to Gerrish Park, 308 Walnut Street, Springfield MA 01105. Project includes installation of sediment & erosion controls, earthwork, installation of sediment & erosion controls, earthwork, installation of owner-furnished site furnishings, timber guardrail installation, restringing of existing flagpole, landscape improvements and tree plantings. Estimated value of the contract is approximately $75,000.00.It is strongly encouraged to attend a site visit on September 15, 2026 at 1:00 PM on site. All questions regarding this bid or its specifications must be made in writing and received by the Office of Procurement no later than 9/17/26 ([email protected]) in order to be considered. The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women (MWBE) participation in all contracts. MA DLS Prevailing Wage rates apply.
