The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a 40-gallon direct steam kettle for the Kansas City VA Medical Center. The kettle should be a name brand or equal to Cleveland Range Model KDL40TSH and have specific features such as manual tilting, 50 psi rating, and stainless steel interior and exterior. The contractor will be responsible for delivering and installing the kettle. The contract will be awarded to the lowest priced technically acceptable offer. • The kettle will be used for healthy cooking methods that require little or no fats, such as braising, searing, and boiling. • The contractor must comply with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws, executive orders, rules, and regulations. • The contract includes a warranty and limitation of liability clause. • The contractor must provide a certificate of compliance with the requirements of the contract. • The contract has a standard 1-year parts and labor warranty, and includes performance start-up and free water quality check.
