HH-60W GRIP ASSEMBLYS (RH/LH)

The United States Air Force is conducting market research to identify potential sources that possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet qualification requirements to repair the Left and Right Hand Grip Assemblys applicable to the HH-60W Helicopter. The requirement is for repair services, and the projected quantities will be Best Estimated Quantities (BEQ) of 20 per year of each item. The Government's needs for repair services are required to support current combat search and rescue operations. • The Grip Assemblys are used to control MFD cursor movement and modes, and the EO/IR sensor. • The IHCUs are equipped with seven switches positioned for use by specific fingers. • Power is supplied to the pilot IHCU by the No. 2 DC primary bus through a circuit breaker marked PLT IHCU. • The Government does not own or have access to the data for these items, and it has been determined to be uneconomical to buy the data or rights to the data. • The Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for the HH-60W Grip Assemblys is Mason Controls.
