GESPC II PROJECT - COMMISSIONING

The Georgia World Congress Center Authority is seeking a qualified firm to provide independent Commissioning Authority services for the GESPC II Project. The project involves a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and controls upgrades across the Georgia World Congress Center campus. The selected firm will be responsible for providing full lifecycle commissioning services, including Measurement & Verification (M&V) coordination. Some key aspects of the project include: • Building Automation System (BAS) replacement and upgrades • Central plant improvements, including chiller and boiler plant upgrades • Cooling tower system improvements • Hydronic system upgrades • Kitchen ventilation demand control systems • Generator peak shaving systems • HVAC refurbishments and related infrastructure improvements The project will be executed in an actively operating convention center environment with ongoing events and operational constraints. The anticipated schedule includes construction start in June 2026, substantial completion in June 2028, and commissioning activities spanning pre-construction through post-installation and seasonal testing phases.
