The Ohio Department of Development’s Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities (OOD) is seeking qualified contractors to provide Communication Access Real‑Time Transcription (CART) captioning services for the 2026 Accessible Ohio Conference and Expo on August 13, 2026. The contractor will supply in‑person (preferred) or remote captioners to cover breakout sessions and a keynote, totaling up to 21 hours of service, and will also provide a flat‑rate administrative fee for coordination and management. The award will be based on the lowest responsive and responsible bid.
• Provide CART captioning (in‑person preferred) for up to 21 hours on August 13, 2026.
• Submit an hourly rate for each captioner plus a flat administrative fee.
• Respond by May 28, 2026; questions due by May 26, 2026; optional Q&A session on May 12, 2026.
• Award decision will be based on cost and capability; no MBE set‑aside.
