CGC HOLLYHOCK DRYDOCK

The U.S. Coast Guard is soliciting a contractor to perform an unplanned dry‑dock availability for the 225‑ft cutter USCGC HOLLYHOCK (WLB‑214) in FY 2026. Work will be performed at the contractor’s facility (home port 400 Sand Island Pkwy, Honolulu, HI) and includes a comprehensive list of 13 work items: fire‑prevention compliance, hull plating inspection and repair, cleaning and inspection of controllable‑pitch propellers, exterior deck preservation, the dry‑dock operation itself, provision of temporary services, sea‑trial support, renewal of compartment and piping insulation, overhaul of the main reduction gear, provision of an independent NACE Level 3 inspector, tenting of exposed areas, and strain‑gage alignment checks of the propulsion shaft. The contractor must adhere to numerous Coast Guard and SFLC standard specifications (e.g., 0000, 0740, 5550, 6310, 8634/8635), submit fire‑safety plans, maintain environmental protection measures, and complete extensive quality‑assurance documentation. Government‑furnished drawings, technical publications, and certain property will be provided.
