Nearman Fire Protection Tank Upgrades

The KC Board of Public Utilities is seeking a qualified contractor to perform upgrades to the Nearman Creek Fire Protection Tank. The scope of work includes repairs, modifications, and improvements necessary to bring the tank into compliance with applicable National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards, as well as relining the interior of the tank. This work must be done during Nearman Creek Power Plant's scheduled one-month outage starting on April 5th, 2026, and ending on May 5th, 2026. • The project requires compliance with NFPA standards. • The tank's interior needs to be relined. • The work must be completed within a one-month outage period. • The contractor should have experience with fire protection equipment and systems. • The contractor should be familiar with steel tanks, pressure type, and fire and water damage restoration services.
