27-007 Corrective Pole Maintenance

The City of Albany is seeking a contractor to perform corrective maintenance on its 12KV electrical distribution system, replacing faulty/rotten wood power poles with new wood poles and associated electric powerline equipment/hardware. The project includes replacing 58 faulty/rotten wood power poles and installing associated power hardware. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor and equipment to install all power infrastructure as per the plans and specifications. * The project requires a contractor with certified and qualified linemen to work on the 12KV electrical distribution line. * The contractor will be responsible for making all primary and secondary wire connections where required. * The contractor will be required to attend a pre-construction conference with the owner's representative to discuss any details of the project. * The contractor will be required to provide a bid bond, performance bond, and labor and material payment bond. * The contractor will be responsible for locating existing underground utilities and verifying the depth of each utility. * The contractor will be responsible for removing and disposing of all waste, trash, and rubbish resulting from the work under this contract.
