Research Enhancement Award Program (REAP) for Health Professional Schools and Graduate Schools (R15 Clinical Trial Required)

The Research Enhancement Award Program (REAP) for Health Professional Schools and Graduate Schools provides support for small-scale research grants to institutions that do not receive substantial funding from the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The purpose of the program is to provide biomedical research experiences for health professional, undergraduate, and graduate students, and to enhance the research environment at applicant institutions. The program supports investigator-initiated mechanistic and/or minimal risk clinical trials addressing the mission and research interests of participating NIH institutes.
