Liquid-Cooled Transmitter - WJIQ-TV Channel 4

The Alabama Educational Television Commission (AETC) is seeking a bid to procure a Liquid-Cooled Transmitter and associated equipment for a new television transmission facility. The transmitter must meet detailed specifications, including being a modern, high-efficiency design, providing high-quality signals for the transmission of digital television in accordance with all applicable standards and recommendations for ATSC 1.0 & ATSC 3.0. The bid shall include the labor and expenses for personnel to perform work on site at the WJIQ-TV transmitter site located in Vernon, Alabama. • The transmitter must be a liquid-cooled, solid-state TV transmitter system • The transmitter must meet the specifications outlined in the bid document • The bid must include the labor and expenses for personnel to perform work on site • The bidder must hold a current State of Alabama Contractor’s License • The bidder must provide Installation and Commissioning services and perform the transmitter testing and proof services during the commissioning of the transmitter
