Design Services for Chelsea Court Reconstruction

The City and Borough of Juneau is seeking a consultant to provide design services for the Chelsea Court Reconstruction project. The project involves improvements to underground storm drainage, water and sewer utilities, road base, pavement, street lighting upgrades to LED, and other miscellaneous improvements. The consultant will be responsible for providing all professional engineering services necessary to prepare complete bid-ready construction drawings, specifications, bid schedule, and engineer's estimate with critical material lead times. The project is expected to be completed by November 16, 2026. • The consultant will be required to conduct at least two design workshops in coordination with the CBJ Engineering Department Project Manager. • The consultant will be responsible for preparing and submitting all technical specifications required for the project. • The consultant will be required to attend all required public meetings and be available to present the design and project schedule to the Assembly or their subcommittee if directed by the CBJ Engineering Department. • The consultant will be responsible for researching all as-built records, property surveys, and government or private sources necessary to define right-of-way limits, required or existing easement conditions and/or requirements, and existing public and private utility locations.
