FY27 Fleet Maintenance Parts

The Ada County Highway District (ACHD) is seeking a qualified firm to provide staffing, transportation, management, and parts necessary to run an efficient and effective parts operation to support the ACHD Fleet. The selected vendor will be responsible for providing parts, supplies, and equipment, as well as managing the on-site parts operation. The contract will be for a one-year term with the option for one additional one-year renewal. • The vendor will be responsible for hiring, staffing, promoting, transferring, and dismissing employees needed for the operation of the on-site parts services. • The vendor will provide monthly comprehensive reports on parts activity, including cost and inventory. • The vendor will be responsible for all taxes, fringe benefits, and training for all personnel needed for the performance of the resulting contract. • The vendor will prepare and submit a manpower plan to ACHD for approval. • The vendor will exercise control and responsibility of the stockroom. • The vendor will provide a statement concerning commercial warranties available to ACHD and the terms/conditions for parts purchased from the vendor.
