Independent City Auditor: Audit Services

The City of Manchester, NH, Office of the Independent City Auditor, is seeking proposals from qualified firms of certified public accountants to audit the financial statements and perform the Single Audit of the City of Manchester, NH. The audit will be performed in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards and the U.S. Office of Management and Budget (OMB) in accordance with Uniform Guidance, Title 2 of the Code of Federal Regulations (2 CFR Part 200). The contract will cover three fiscal years, with an option for two additional one-year renewal periods. The selected firm will be required to provide a detailed audit plan, including approach, methodology, and procedures, and will be expected to cooperate with the federal cognizant agency. The City is looking for a firm with experience in auditing large governmental entities and specific experience with New Hampshire RSA's.
