Sources Sought - 19 AMXS Load Test

The US Air Force is seeking sources for annual load testing of aircraft component lifting slings. The contractor will be responsible for picking up equipment from Little Rock Air Force Base, performing load testing, and returning the equipment to the base. The contractor must have the capability to transport equipment and perform load testing in accordance with technical guidance. The contract will be for a period of 5 years, with a basic year and 4 option years. The contractor must also provide a contract manager and alternate who are knowledgeable of annual load testing. * The equipment to be tested includes engine T-Sling Assy, adapter, ground handling, refrigeration hoist, APU hoist, APU dolly, rear mount sling, sling, beam type, and pear ring and shackle with bolt. * The contractor must have a system of internal controls to manage government property in its possession. * The contractor must report loss of government property in the GFP Module located in PIEE. * The contractor must ensure that all contract personnel attending meetings, answering government telephones, and working in other situations where their contractor status is not obvious to third parties identify themselves as such to avoid creating an impression in the minds of members of the public that they are government officials. * The contractor must comply with all applicable safety requirements and regulations. * The contractor must have an AS9100 compliant quality management system.
