Grandstand Video Screens and Services

The South Dakota State Fair is seeking proposals for grandstand video screens and services during the 2026, 2027, 2028, 2029, and 2030 annual South Dakota State Fair. The proposal must be based on a per year basis. The contractor will provide video screens and services for the five main events held in the Grandstand during the fair. The services include providing two 11’ x 19’ Daktronics 10 mm displays or equivalent, Tricaster Switcher, processor, LED technician, four camera shoot with camera ops and switcher/director, instant replay for two nights of bull riding, and timing clock. The contractor is responsible for set-up, operation, and strike, while the South Dakota State Fair will provide schedule, permits, logo and commercial content to be displayed on video screens, and structures and/or equipment to safely hang screens. • The contract will be for a five-year period, beginning January 1, 2026, and ending December 31, 2030. • The proposal must include an executive summary, detailed response, and cost proposal. • The evaluation criteria include familiarity with the project locale, availability to the project locale, resources available to perform the work, cost, specialized expertise, and record of past performance. • The State reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and make award(s) as deemed to be in the best interest of the State of South Dakota.
