Early Childhood CSPD Lead

The Hawaii State Department of Health is seeking a qualified contractor to function as the Early Childhood Comprehensive System of Personnel Development (CSPD) Lead. The CSPD Lead will work closely with the CSPD Leadership Team and CSPD Workgroup Teams to design and sustain a CSPD for the Early Childhood workforce that supports children with special health needs and their families in the State of Hawaii. The contractor will be responsible for providing services including continuing education seminars or conferences, personnel management associations, and professional development training. The contract will be for a period of 12 months, with the option for extension. Key responsibilities and scope of work include: • Developing and implementing a comprehensive system of personnel development for the Early Childhood workforce • Providing training and technical assistance to Early Childhood programs and providers • Collaborating with other state agencies and organizations to support the development of the Early Childhood workforce • Evaluating the effectiveness of the CSPD and making recommendations for improvement The ideal candidate will have experience in early childhood education, personnel development, and project management. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
