Facilities Master Plan

The following Scope of Services is designed to guide a Firm in developing a successful proposal.Assessment• Data Gathering & Analysis: Review existing architectural plans, previous master plans, CCC strategic plans, andcampus utilization data.• Facilities Condition Assessment (FCA): Evaluate the physical condition, structural integrity, and life-span of buildingsystems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) and roofs across both campuses.• Space Utilization Study: Analyze how current academic, administrative, and student life spaces are used to identifyspatial inefficiencies and opportunities for optimization.Engagement and Vision• Stakeholder Engagement: Conduct interviews, focus groups, and surveys with students, faculty, staff, and the CCCBoard of Trustees.• Strategic Alignment: Ensure physical spaces align with long-term academic visions, evolving workforce developmentgoals (such as the Fulton Advanced Manufacturing Institute), and community partnerships.Master Plan Development• Space Standards & Guidelines: Develop modern design guidelines for future renovations and new constructions.Solicitation Number 2627-01 – Facilities Master Plan• Campus Master Plan Options: Draft multiple schematic design scenarios (e.g., adaptive reuse, consolidation, orexpansion) for the Auburn and Fulton sites.• Technology & Accessibility Updates: Ensure proposed layouts feature modern IT infrastructure, meet ADAcompliance standards, and accommodate growing virtual learning needs.Implementation and Phasing• Phasing and Scheduling: Create a realistic, multi-year phasing plan designed to minimize disruption to ongoingclasses and daily operations• Cost Estimation: Provide conceptual cost estimates, order-of-magnitude budgeting, and identify potential funding orgrants.
