Canal Street Bridge Request for Proposals for Engineering Services

The City of Natchez is seeking a consulting engineering firm to provide engineering services for the replacement of the Canal Street Bridge. The project includes environmental studies, conceptual plans, profile grades, plan-profile sheets, field survey, permanent signing plans and details, utility coordination, bridge layouts, railroad coordination, roadway right of way plans, right of way maps and deeds, structural design of bridges and appurtenances, geotechnical investigations, and final bridge and roadway construction plans, specifications and estimates. The firm will be selected based on factors such as past experience, performance, and qualifications on similar projects, experience and qualifications of the proposed Project Manager, and location/proximity of the Consultant's offices. • The project termini are from Simmons Street to Green Street, Project No. STP-6096-00(003)LPA / 110214-801000, Adams County, Mississippi. • The contract is expected to be approximately four years in duration. • The City anticipates executing the contract by approximately the end of November, 2026. • The DBE goal is 0%. • Firms are encouraged to contact the Mississippi Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Surveyors to ensure that individuals and firms are qualified to offer and provide services in the State of Mississippi.
