Asbestos Removal and Disposal

The U.S. Government Publishing Office (GPO) seeks a qualified contractor to provide a multi‑year, firm‑fixed‑price asbestos removal and disposal service for its Central Complex in Washington, DC and a warehouse in Laurel, MD. The contract includes one base year and four optional one‑year extensions (total up to five years). The contractor must supply all labor, supervision, equipment, permits, certifications, medical surveillance, air monitoring, waste packaging, transport, and disposal in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (OSHA, EPA, DC and Maryland codes). The work will be performed primarily Monday‑Friday, 6 am‑4 pm, with after‑hours capability for emergencies. Key deliverables include maintaining annual asbestos abatement permits, handling variance requests, providing health‑safety plans, and submitting waste manifests.
