USP Canaan Special Notice - NON-COMPETITIVE (Sole Source) - JWC Monster Grinder

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, USP Canaan, intends to award a sole source contract to JWC Environmental for a new wastewater grinder. The current grinder is severely damaged and beyond repair. The new grinder will work in conjunction with the existing JWC Environmental sewer rotor/auger. The acquisition is conducted under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901(e) and in accordance with FAR 12.102(a). • The contract is for a Firm-Fixed Price. • The acquisition is for a new wastewater grinder for the current wastewater sewage grinder system. • The system is part of the JWC Environmental "Monster" system which uses proprietary technology. • The NAICS code for this acquisition is 221320.
