Transportation of K-397 Transformer

The Snohomish County PUD is seeking a contractor to transport a K-397 Transformer from the Everett Substation to the Brier Substation. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary labor, materials, transportation, traffic control, tools, equipment, and supplies to lift, transport, handle, stage, and place the transformer in its final location. The transformer is approximately 155.06”H x 156.22”W x 275.31”L and weighs 188,600 pounds. The contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local safety laws and regulations. • The contractor must provide all necessary permits, escorts, and traffic control. • The contractor must ensure that all vehicles used for the project are equipped and marked to meet all applicable rules and regulations. • The contractor must provide a current list of authorized personnel and update it as necessary. • The contractor must ensure that all employees and subcontractors wear visible identification and display DISTRICT parking permits. • The contractor must comply with all applicable insurance requirements. • The contractor must provide a signed proposal form and supporting documents. • The contractor must participate in a teleconference for the bid opening.
