The US Army Corps of Engineers is seeking a contractor to provide refuse-recycling services at Coralville Lake, Iowa. The contract includes waste collection, removal, and disposal, as well as single-stream recycling collection, removal, and disposal. The contractor will be responsible for supplying waste containers, collecting and transporting waste, and ensuring that all work is performed in a safe and legal manner. The contract has a base period and four option periods, with a total duration of five years. • The contractor must provide a Quality Control Plan and an Accident Prevention Plan. • The contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. • The contractor must ensure that all employees are aware of environmental and hazardous materials handling procedures. • The contractor must report any incidents or accidents to the Contracting Officer's Representative. • The contractor must provide proof of insurance and maintain the required insurance coverage throughout the contract period.
