The Town of North Kingstown, Rhode Island, is seeking bids for the supply of liquid sodium hypochlorite for use in its potable drinking water supply wells. The successful bidder will be required to provide a 15% concentration of sodium hypochlorite solution, comply with AWWA B300 latest revision, and provide full documentation of compliance with ANSI/NSF 60. The estimated quantity is a monthly delivery of 250-750 gallons to four well sites. The bid price should remain firm from the date of award through June 30, 2026. • The solution must have a clear liquid density of 1.15 to 1.17 mg/1 at 20 degrees C. • The solution must provide for a minimum 12.43% by weight of available free chlorine. • The supplier must comply with all applicable Federal and State laws regarding the transport and transfer of hazardous materials. • The supplier must provide a certificate of insurance with the Town named as an additional insured. • The supplier must provide a list of ten similar and successfully completed jobs as part of the bid.
