The City of Raleigh is seeking one or more qualified contractors to provide on‑call emergency and scheduled repair, installation, and troubleshooting services for backup power generation systems at its water‑treatment and wastewater facilities, pump stations, lift stations, storage tanks and booster pumps. The work covers diesel and natural‑gas generators, control panels, ATS, batteries, fuel delivery, exhaust, ventilation, cooling, and associated switchgear. Contracts will be awarded on an as‑needed basis for up to five years, with no guaranteed minimum volume. Contractors must respond to emergency calls within two hours and non‑emergency requests within 24 hours, provide written estimates before work, and may be required to work after normal business hours in critical situations.
